SSSAS is a college preparatory Episcopal Church School in the Diocese of Virginia that educates boys and girls from ages 3 through grade 12. SSSAS serves students from across Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C.

With a growing student population, SSSAS has been working on a plan to expand the upper school to meet the demand. The new building will have 20 new classrooms, including dedicated classrooms for Art and Science, common dining areas as well as new parking spots. The new upper school will take the place of the existing ______ building. Construction is set to begin in 2021.

To accomplish such a project, SSSAS needs to have a Fundraising campaign. The school has been working with Cox, Graae + Spack Architects for many years, and they contacted IMD to create several 3D Renderings and a 3D Animation of the new school.

The idea of the video included showing the demolition of the existing building, aerial views of the new upper school building, and interior views of highlighted classrooms, art classrooms, the lab, and common areas.

Understanding how important it is to appreciate potential donors, IMD created custom views for them which included close-ups of the actual plaque with the donor’s name. These custom 3D Renderings were presented in a customized Donor’s Package.

In June 2021, the project is well underway and on track for completion in 2022.
