A Guide to Remote Readiness
We are a society that is accustomed to a generally repetitive way of life, where our daily routines assume a level of certainty we often take for granted. Then life throws us a curveball or two. At IMD, we make an intentional effort to be prepared, to the best of our ability, so we can maintain the consistent level of quality service to which our clients are accustomed.
Our Guide to Remote Readiness policies detailed in this document were created in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic, which has uprooted many of our personal and professional lives. During this specific circumstance, as well as any future emergencies or other remote work situations, this guide serves as a compass to prepare our company as a whole, as well as our individual team members.
We know emergencies often occur without warning. Preparing well in advance not only minimizes anxiety in a moment of an unpredictable crisis, it also plays a significant role in enabling us to stay safe and maintain as close to “normal” lives as possible during it all. While this guide is meant primarily to serve our team by providing preparedness planning tips and things to consider, we also hope it conveys to our customers, network and greater audience the steps taken by IMD to care for our staff while avoiding interruption of service during challenging times.
We hope this effort contributes to the global conversation of corporate and individual readiness as we all tackle a new reality in the times of COVID-19.
