Virtual Reality has been part of our society for years, and at Illustrate My Design (IMD) we have been offering it as a service to our clients for a while now. In years past, it was difficult for some people to see the value of VR as it can seem cost- or tech-prohibitive, appearing to be more of a luxury for those with larger project budgets.

In this new world of the COVID-19 and social distancing, minds are changing and taking a more interested look into VR and it's almost certainly expanded and emphasized existence in our future. From safety training simulations or test-driving features of new automobile models, to virtually touring potential homes for purchase, VR is about to show the world how affordable, functional and practical its applications are in everyday society.

At IMD, we work tirelessly to offer the best and most technologically advanced services, constantly tweaking our workflow processes for efficiency and relevancy. We want to ensure we’re speaking the right language with our clients and that we’re on the same page where their project needs are concerned.

In order to find success in this approach, we need to stay in touch not only with our clients, but with the general population as well. While we thrive in the subject of VR, we’re interested in what you think about the subject. Which is how the idea of this “general knowledge” VR survey came about. We want to know what you know about VR. Have you used it before? What did you think? If you’ve never tried it, would you try it out if given the opportunity? Where do you see VR showing up in your future? We want to hear it all!

The more information you provide us in this survey, the more we understand where lies any misconceptions regarding VR and its accessibility. The more we understand, the better we can educate the public to become experts in VR themselves.

If you wish to receive the published results and responses once the survey has ended, be sure to check the box on the last question of the survey and leave us your email before submitting. Thank you for being part of our research to better understanding our future with VR.
