The Francis Case Memorial Bridge is located across the Washington Channel of the Potomac River as Interstate Route 395. Enhancing the bridge is part of a major redevelopment plan for the Southwest D.C. waterfront - The Wharf. The Wharf is a mixed-use development project to revitalize the urban waterfront, creating a new destination and the next great D.C. neighborhood.
